View from speeding train

One of those shots I hit upon as I gazed out of window,from our rail coach on Mysore-bound Shatabdi.This photo was taken some 30 minutes into our journey. The train had left Chennai at 6 a m, when it was still dark.

I have a vested interest in posting this shot, of a piece of Crayon colouring done by my 5-year-old grandson Sidharth. His best friend's mom, Mrs Paleja, is his arts teacher.

At the ball court

A sharp shower the night before leaves tell-tale evidence of uneven surface of this basketball court at the Mysore Medical College grounds. I pass by this ground every other day on morning walk, but have rarely seen it being used for a basketball game.
