As I understand, flogging is a British slang for 'hawking'.Though it has other meanings, in the context I sought to use the word,flogging wouldn't mean anything other than selling. Of course,I could have used another to convey my sense.Could still do,if you, ROG, reckon my usage of the word is inappropriate.

the verb I'd use is hawking or selling. flogging has a totally different meaning, to me.
