This clutter at the entrance reflects a throng of pilgrims visiting the Kukke Subramanya hill temple in Karnataka. You get to see this sight, disorderly and rather unholy, at the entrance of Hindu shrines, where devotees leave their footwear at the door before they enter the temple.

Mysore Memories
Going through 'My Pictures' stored in our computer I happened by this one.I don't recall when, and why I took this picture of the oval athletics ground near Crawford Hall, Mysore. Now that I no longer live in Mysore the photo gains nostalgic value. This, then, is my this week's entry for Scenic Sunday and SOOC.

Clubhouse swimpool
Took this photo of the clubhouse swim-pool at our residential complex in Chennai, a couple of months back. Reflections are sharp, presumably, because the pool had not been cleaned to show up the blue flooring.

Plastic toys
Plastic toys, bloated with nothing but thin air, on sale by a roadside hawker looking for customers in passing vehicles. This shot was taken on a drive from Mysore to Bangalore at a road-crossing when the traffic light was red.
